Still Waiting.....

Well it's been quite some time since I written anything - that's because we are still waiting for the land to be ready.
Originally it was scheduled for Feb but they're now saying March - either way it's ok because PD won't start building until April.
We should be signing the loan docs this month - they've been approved but apparently you can only sign them within 3 months of when the loan is to start.

We also decided to add a fridge tap and increase the fridge space - yay, ice cold drinks lol

Land Loan Approved

Just had a call from our bank manager telling us that the land loan has been approved and she is getting started on the house loan (can't be finalised until we sign the contract with the exact amount).
All very exciting :)

We Own Land!

It's official, the land contract has been signed and is scheduled for settlement in Feb next year :)

Quick Update - Today we paid our holding fee with PD and on Saturday we will be heading down to the land sales office to pay our land deposit and sign the land contract!!!
Woo Hoo!!

Within the next week or so we will be having another appointment with PD to start organising all our house extras. We want to get the alfresco, bifold doors etc. We know these things would probably be cheaper if we do them ourself but it would probably be 5 years on and nothing done :P

The Beginning

We have decided to build the Porter Davis Stanford 24 at Marriott Waters Lyndhurst.

We will be building in stage 9, which won't be ready until Jan/Feb 2010 to build on - hopefully everything goes smoothly :P
